Job profile

Bright Capital is looking for an Intern for 3 months to support the investment professionals in its Frankfurt office. As an Intern at Bright Capital, you will have insight into the investment process through the full lifecycle of an investment, from origination to execution as well as potential subsequent responsibilities over the active portfolio.

As an Intern at Bright Capital, your involvements include:

• Analysis of markets and investee companies;
• Assist the investment team in undertaking an initial assessment of potential investment opportunities;
• Assist in the preparation of credit committee papers and completion of credit due diligence (buy-side and independent DD, sessions with management/PE sponsor);
• Conducting research on potential investment opportunities facilitating Bright’s origination activities.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, passion for excellence and strong communication skills. Key prerequisites include:

• Student of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Engineering/Mathematics/Informatics, or similar at a top tier university (minimum of 4 semesters Bachelor);
• Previous work experience in the fields of leveraged finance, investment banking, private equity, debt advisory, transaction services, or other private debt experience required;
• Highly commercial with a strong business sense;
• Entrepreneurial and self-starting attitude to match our dynamic culture;
• Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English.
